What is Somatic Therapy?

The word “somatic” is derived from the Greek word “soma” which means “living body.” Somatic therapy is any therapy that focuses on the relationship between the body and the mind. 

I use a combination of physical awareness, dialogue, movement, and touch to support and guide you to release both physical and emotional adverse energy from your body.

This offers a variety of benefits including relief from chronic pain, past trauma, anxiety, depression and stress. It transforms negative emotional experiences, creates a greater sense of self, builds resilience and enhances your body’s own natural capacity to heal.
